Manage Kitchen Ticket printing settings

Learn how to change Kitchen Ticket printing settings on the Eats365 POS or the Merchant Portal to customize how they appear when printed.

The Eats365 POS offers flexible kitchen ticket printing options. Configure your printer’s behavior, including when and how kitchen tickets are printed, through the Printing settings in both the Eats365 POS and the Merchant Portal.

In this article, you’ll learn about kitchen ticket printing settings and how to change them on the Eats365 POS or the Merchant Portal.

Configure Kitchen Ticket Printing settings

To set up Ticket Printing settings, follow the steps below:

Eats365 POS

  1. Log in to the Eats365 POS. 
  2. At the top left, tap Settings .
  3. Under "Settings," tap Printing, then select Ticket Printing.
  4. Turn on  or off  a setting based on your preference.
  5. At the top right, tap Save to confirm.

Merchant Portal (Classic Theme)

Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Experience Merchant Portal 2.0.

  1. Log in to the Merchant Portal. 
  2. On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings. Then, click on Printing.
  3. At the top, click on Ticket Printing tab.
  4. Turn on  or off  a setting based on your preference.
  5. At the top right, click on Save to confirm.

Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Back to Classic Theme.

  1. Log in to the Merchant Portal. 
  2. On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings.
  3. Click on Printing. Then, select Ticket Settings.
  4. Turn on  or off  a setting based on your preference.
  5. At the top right, click on Save to confirm.

Kitchen Ticket Printing options

You can change the following options in Ticket Printing settings:

Eats365 POS

General

Print Ticket for Canceled Items

Prints a ticket whenever an Item is canceled.

Print Combo Item Name

Prints the Combo Item name.

Print Ticket After Table Transfer

Prints another ticket when a customer transfers to a new table. A new table number is assigned to the customer’s order.

Print Separate Ticket for Each Single Item

Prints Single Items from the same Kitchen Station separately. Turn this option off if you want to print all items from the same order in a single ticket.

Note: Items assigned to different kitchen stations still print on those stations.

Combine Kitchen Station

Combines items from the same Kitchen Station.

Combine Same Item

Displays identical orders as one entry. When turned off, each identical order is displayed separately.

Item Display Type

Choose from the following options:

  • Distinguish Combo / Single
  • Combine Combo / Single

Coursing

Print Prep Ticket

Sends a prep ticket to a printer for items put on hold or set with coursing.

Print Fire Course Ticket

Prints a ticket when a course item is fired.

Ticket Printing
