Manage Expeditor Ticket printing and template settings
Learn how to change Expeditor Ticket printing settings in the Eats365 POS to customize how they appear when printed.
Customize Expeditor Ticket printing and template settings for your Eats365 modules. Control printer behavior, including when and how tickets print, using the printing settings in the Eats365 POS and the Merchant Portal.
In this article, you’ll learn about Expeditor Ticket printing and template settings and how to change them in the Eats365 POS and Merchant Portal.
Configure Expeditor Ticket printing and template settings
To set up Expeditor Ticket Printing settings, follow the steps below:
Eats365 POS
- Log in to the Eats365 POS.
- At the top left, tap Settings
. - Under "Settings," select Printing, then choose Expeditor Ticket Printing.
- Select an option to turn on
or turn off 
.
- Tap Save to confirm.
Merchant Portal (Classic Theme)
Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Experience Merchant Portal 2.0.
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings. Then, click on Printing.
- At the top, click on the Expeditor Ticket Printing tab.
Tip: You can click on the left and right arrow buttons to search for the Expeditor Ticket Printing and Expeditor Ticket Template tab. - Turn on
or off a setting based on your preference. - At the top right, click on Save to confirm.
Merchant Portal 2.0
Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Back to Classic Theme.
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings. Then, click on Printing.
- Click on Expeditor Ticket Settings.
- In the “Expeditor Ticket Printing” and “Expeditor Ticket Template” tabs, select an option to turn on
or turn off .
- Click on Save to confirm.
Expeditor Ticket Printing and Template options
You can change the following options in the Expediter Ticket Printing settings:
Eats365 POS
General Expediter Ticket Printing settings
Print Dine-in Expediter Ticket
Prints an expediter ticket for dine-in orders.
Print Takeout Expediter Ticket
Prints an expediter ticket for takeout orders.
Print Catering Expediter Ticket
Prints an expediter ticket for catering orders.
Print Expediter Ticket after Table Transfer
Prints an expediter ticket when an order is transferred to another table.
Print Expediter Ticket when Cancel Item
Prints an expediter ticket when an item is canceled.
Print Expediter Ticket by Table Partition
Prints an expediter ticket when a table is shared or split.

Group Item Count
Prints item count of group items.
Print Identical Modifiers Combined
Combines identical modifiers as a single entry on expeditor tickets.
Combo Item Display Format
Select how you want to display combo items.
- Indicate by (Combo) - Add a “Combo” label for Combo Items.
- Indicate by * - Add an asterisk “*” indicator for Combo Items.
- Display Combo Name - Add the combo item name for each item.
- Display Combo Name and Separate Single and Combo - Add a Single item and Combo Item indicator to the items.
Print Printing Time
Prints the date and time when the expediter ticket was printed.
Print QR Code
Displays a scannable QR Code on the ticket.
Print Kitchen Station Name(s)
Displays associated kitchen station names on expeditor tickets.
Language
Printing Language
Sets the default language of printed Expeditor Tickets.
Enable Dual Language Printing for Menu Items
Gives the option to print two languages for a Menu Item.
Important: Item names must be entered for the selected languages separately in Menu Setup. For more information on Menu Setup settings, refer to Set up and manage a Single Item or Set up and manage a Combo Item.
Merchant Portal (Classic)
Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Experience Merchant Portal 2.0.
For your convenience, the majority of options are already described based on their actual purpose. For example, the option Print Dine-In indicator on Expeditor Ticket prints the indicator (Dine-In) on the ticket. The option Print Order Remarks prints the Order Remarks on the Ticket, and so on. These settings can be turned on or off .
In some cases, some options may require different input or have unique behaviors. Refer to the settings below for more information:
