Customize the Ticket Template

Learn how to change Ticket Template settings the Eats365 POS or the Merchant Portal to customize how receipts appear when printed.

You can toggle the options in the Ticket Template settings to add or remove information that you’d like to display on the receipt once it’s printed. In this article, you’ll learn about Ticket Template settings and how to change them on the Eats365 POS or Merchant Portal.

Modify the Ticket Template

To change the Ticket Template, follow the steps below:

Eats365 POS

  1. Log in to the Eats365 POS. 
  2. At the top left, tap Settings .
  3. Under Settings, tap Printing, then select Ticket Template.
  4. Choose an option to change based on your preferences.
  5. At the top right, tap Save to confirm.

Merchant Portal (Classic Theme)

Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Experience Merchant Portal 2.0.

  1. Log in to the Merchant Portal. 
  2. On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings. Then, click on Printing.
  3. At the top, click on Ticket Template tab. 
    Tip: You can click on the arrow buttons to search for the Ticket Template tab.
  4. Choose an option to change based on your preferences.
  5. At the top right, click on Save to confirm.

Merchant Portal 2.0

Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Back to Classic Theme.

  1. Log in to the Merchant Portal. 
  2. On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings.
  3. Click on Printing. Then select Ticket Settings.
  4. At the top, click on Ticket Template tab. 
  5. Choose an option to change based on your preferences.

Ticket Template options

Eats365 POS

For your convenience, the majority of options are already described based on their actual purpose. For example, the option Print Modifier in red color prints the Modifiers in red text. The option Print Order Remarks prints the Order Remarks on the Ticket, and so on. These settings can be turned on  or off .

In some cases, some options may require different input or have unique behaviors. Refer to the settings below for more information:

Margin Sizing

Applies to the following:

  • Top Margin
  • Bottom Margin

Adjust the margin size to None, Original, 2x, and 3x.

Font Size selection

Applies to the following:

  • Ticket
  • Remarks
  • Fire Label
  • Order Number
  • Table Name

Choose from the varying options:

  • None
  • Small
  • Large
  • Extra Large

Print Item Page Number (X of Y)

Displays the Page Number on the Ticket. For example, “Page 1 of 2.”

Printing Language

Sets the default language of printed receipts.

Enable Dual Language Printing for Menu Items 

Gives the option to print two languages for a Menu Item.

Important: Item names must be entered for the selected languages separately in Menu Setup. For more information on Menu Setup settings, refer to Set up and manage a Single Item or Set up and manage a Combo Item.
