Update 24.4.1: Branded Online Store and Merchant Portal enhancements
The latest Eats365 Modules and Merchant Portal updates introduce enhancements to ordering through the Branded Online Store and Scan to Order (BYOD), additions to the menu settings you can manage with a Menu Template, improvements to managing CRM members on the Merchant Portal, and more.
Enhancements
Branded Online Store
Release date: April 18, 2024
Here are the updates to the Branded Online Store:
- Enable or disable the “Show My QR Code” function on the Branded Online Store
- Choose to enable or disable the “Show My QR Code” section on the Branded Online Store for logged in customers.
- Require passcode when members use their membercredit online
- When enabled, customers can set up a passcode to use when paying for online orders with member credits.
- To learn how customers can ensure the security of their member credits, refer to Secure member credit payment on the branded online store.
- Attach multiple pieces of media to an item on the Branded Online Store
- Add up to 5 images and 1 video to each item on your restaurant’s website. This is applicable to both Single Items and Combo Items.
- Ordering using Scan to Order(BYOD)
- Show items based on the customer’s chosen Menu Tier
- Dine-in customers ordering through your restaurant’s website will only presented with items available to their selected Menu Tier.
- Prompt to verify legal age when ordering alcoholic items
- When dine-in customers purchase “Liquor” items, a prompt will confirm they are of legal age to do so.
- This feature is currently available in Hong Kong.
- Show items based on the customer’s chosen Menu Tier
- “Restricted Quantity per Person” limit rule is now supported
- Apply the “Restricted Quantity per Person” rule to online orders and orders placed on the POS.
- Enhancements for Branded Online Storeon desktop
- Allow logging in with phone number
- Automatically scroll to the next combo option during ordering (if enabled)
- Allow customers to delete their account
Merchant Portal

Here are the updates to the Merchant Portal:
- Adding a Modifier Master to a Modifier Preset
- Configure Modifier Presets to automatically track and manage the Modifier’s inventory when the preset is used.
- Modifier Master, Modifier Preset, and Ordering Quantity Limit rules can now be managed and applied using a Menu Template
- Addition of “Return Time” column in Returns Report
- The “Return Time” column displays the exact date and time of a void action.
- Including customers whose membership has expired in the Customer List
- Filter the CRM Customer List on the Merchant Portal to include expired memberships.
- Addition of “Remaining Value” in customers’ Credit Activity history
- When checking a member’s Credit Activity history, each transaction now shows the member’s remaining credit balance after the transaction.
- Addition of “Redeem Location” in the Discount Coupons list
- The “Redeem Location” column in the discount coupons list displays the restaurant or branch where the coupon was used.
- Automatically fill the country code when searching members using phone number on the Merchant Portal
- When searching for members using their registered phone number, the country code is automatically populated based on the selected country.

- Deducting a member’s Accumulated Points is now supported
- In addition to adding accumulated points, this update now allows you to change a member’s accumulated points. This is helpful if your restaurant’s membership program requires members to reach a minimum amount of accumulated points before they can upgrade to the next tier. In this case, once the member upgrades their membership plan, you can reset their accumulated points to zero as a new member of the new tier.
