Create and manage Date Groups
Learn how to add, edit, and delete Date Groups on the Merchant Portal.
Date Group enables you to define specific dates or date ranges during which your shop operates. For example, you can create a Date Group for December holidays and use it to include or exclude certain items from the menu, adjust pricing, or suspend certain promotions on those specified dates.
In this article, you’ll learn how to create, modify, and delete Date Groups on the Merchant Portal.
Create a Date Group
To add a Date Group, follow the steps below:
Merchant Portal (Classic Theme)
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- At the top left, change the view to All Groups to display Organization Settings.
- On the left panel, click on Organization Settings, then click on Date Group.
- Click on + Date Group.
- Click on the "Version" drop-down list to set the language for the Date Group. You can also keep it set to Default.
- Enter the Date Group Name.
- Under "Dates," click on +Dates, then select the day and month. To add more dates, repeat this step.
- Click on Add to confirm.
Merchant Portal 2.0
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- At the top, from the "Group" drop-down list, select the organization you’d like to manage.
- On the left panel, click on Advanced Settings, then click on Date Group.
- At the top right, click on + Add Date Group.
- Enter the Date Group Name per language. To add more language, click on Add Language.
- Under "Dates," click on +Add Date, then select the day and month. To add more dates, repeat this step.
- Click on Add to confirm.
Edit a Date Group
To modify a Date Group, follow the steps below:

- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- At the top left, change the view to All Groups to display Organization Settings.
- On the left panel, click on Organization Settings, then click on Date Group.
- On the Date Group you want to modify, click on Edit .
- Update the Date Group’s information.
- Click on Save to confirm the changes.

- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- At the top, from the Group drop-down list, select the organization you’d like to manage.
- On the left panel, click on Advanced Settings, then click on Date Group.
- On the Date Group you want to modify, click on Edit .
- Update the Date Group’s information.
- At the top right, click on Save to confirm the changes.
Delete a Date Group
To remove a Date Group, follow the steps below:

- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- At the top left, change the view to All Groups to display Organization Settings.
- On the left panel, click on Organization Settings, then click on Date Group.
- On the Date Group that you want to remove, click on Delete . The Date Group will disappear from the list.
Merchant Portal 2.0
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- At the top, from the Group drop-down list, select the organization you’d like to manage.
- On the left panel, click on Advanced Settings, then click on Date Group.
- On the Date Group that you want to remove, click on Delete . The Date Group will disappear from the list.
