Generate an e-Invoice for your transaction (Malaysia)
Learn how to complete the e-Invoice form and receive an e-Invoice PDF in your email address.
To receive an e-Invoice PDF of your transaction, complete the e-Invoice request form. The PDF will be sent to your registered email address. Optionally, if you have an account with the designated government portal (MyInvois), you can also access your e-Invoices through their platform.
The method for accessing the e-Invoice request form depends on how you placed the order:
- In-store transaction: Scan the QR code printed on your receipt.
- Restaurant website transaction: Click the button provided in your online receipt.
On the e-Invoice request form, you must enter your personal identification to proceed. The form also includes your transaction details, including restaurant identification and order information.
Before you start
You’ll need the following information to complete the form:
- Tax Identification Number (TIN)
- An identification number of your choice (Business Registration Number, Passport Number, Identification Number)
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Address
- City
- State
- Country
- Zip / Postal Code
Additionally, for in-store transactions, you’ll also need a device with a camera or scanning QR code function to access the form.
Fill out the e-Invoice form
To get started on the e-Invoice request form, follow the steps below:
- Access the e-Invoice request form. The steps to open the e-Invoice request form differs depending on your ordering method:
- Physical receipt (in-store transaction): Using your device’s camera, scan the Eats365 LHDN e-Invoice Request Platform QR code printed on your receipt.
- Online receipt (Restaurant website transaction): On the receipt, click on Request e-Invoice.
- Physical receipt (in-store transaction): Using your device’s camera, scan the Eats365 LHDN e-Invoice Request Platform QR code printed on your receipt.
- Under “Buyer’s Identification,” enter the necessary personal identification requirements. Then, click or tap Validate.
- Under “Buyer’s Information,” enter your personal information. Then, click or tap Submit.
Once the transaction is validated, you’ll receive the e-Invoice in your registered email address. You can choose to access the e-Invoice in your preferred method:
- View your e-Invoice: View the e-Invoice on the MyInvois Portal.
- Download e-Invoice: Download a PDF file of the e-Invoice to your device.
Check e-Invoice status
Scan the QR code on the same physical receipt or click on the Request e-Invoice button on your online receipt to know the e-Invoice request’s status.
E-Invoice email notification not received
If you haven’t received the e-Invoice notification, consider these possible reasons:
The request is still in the process of validation
The request may take some time to be validated. You can come back to the form and check the status by scanning the QR code on the same receipt.
DeleteThe email address is incorrect
If there was an error in the email address you entered in the form, this can no longer be modified.
If you have a MyInvois account, you can check your transactions through their portal.
DeleteThe email is in the spam folder
Check your spam folder or other automated folders that might’ve flagged the email.
DeleteGeneral unexpected errors
If the wait time for the email notification has been unusually long, there might’ve been an unexpected event that caused this. You can initiate the email notification again by clicking or tapping Resend on the form website.
DeleteResend e-Invoice email notification
You can resend the e-Invoice notification to your email address through the following channels:
- Receipt: Access your request form by scanning the QR code on the same receipt or using your online receipt. On the form, click on Resend.
- Merchant: Make a request to the merchant. Ensure that you provide the receipt or transaction details, such as the order number, and date and time of order, so they can locate the transaction and resend the e-Invoice to the email address you entered in the form.
