Configure kitchen printers for each kitchen station

Learn how to assign a printer to a kitchen station on the Eats365 POS and the Merchant Portal.

The Eats365 POS allows you to associate items and link printers to a kitchen station. When an order is placed on the POS, the included items on the order will be sent to the kitchen station where they belong and printed through the printers connected to the kitchen station.

In this article, you’ll learn how to set up a printer to print kitchen tickets for each kitchen station.  For information on how to assign an item to a kitchen station, refer to Set up and manage a Single Item.

To configure kitchen printers for each kitchen station, follow the steps below:

Eats365 POS

  1. Log in to the Eats365 POS. 
  2. At the top left, tap Settings .
  3. Under "General," Tap Printer Setup, then choose your preferred kitchen printer.
  4. Under "Supported Printing Types," place a check mark beside "Kitchen Ticket" and select the kitchen station that you want to assign for this printer.
  5. At the top right, tap Save to confirm.

Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Experience Merchant Portal 2.0.

  1. Log in to the Merchant Portal.
  2. On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings. Then, click on Printer List.
  3. Next to the printer that you want to assign to print kitchen tickets, click on View.
    Note: You must pair a printer to the Eats365 POS first to be able to configure the printer to print kitchen tickets on the Merchant Portal. To connect a printer to the POS, refer to Scan and pair a printer.
  4. Under "Supported Printing Types," place a check mark beside "Kitchen Ticket" and select the kitchen station that you want to assign for this printer.
  5. At the top right, click on Save to confirm.

Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Back to Classic Theme.

  1. Log in to the Merchant Portal.
  2. On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings. Then, click on Printing.
  3. Click on Printer List.
  4. Next to the printer that you want to assign to print kitchen tickets, click on View.
    Note: You must pair a printer to the Eats365 POS first to be able to configure the printer to print kitchen tickets on the Merchant Portal. To connect a printer to the POS, refer to Scan and pair a printer.
  5. Under "Supported Printing Types," place a check mark beside "Kitchen Ticket." Then, click on the drop-down menu and select the kitchen station that you want to assign for this printer.
  6. At the top right, click on Save to confirm.
