    Manage Order Ticket printing and template settings

    Learn how to configure how order tickets are printed using the Eats365 POS or the Merchant Portal.

    The Eats365 POS allows you to customize order ticket printing and template settings. Configure your printer’s behavior, including when and how tickets print, through the printing settings in the Eats365 POS and the Merchant Portal.

    In this article, you’ll learn the different Order Ticket Printing settings and how to change them.

    Configure Order Ticket Printing settings

    To set up the Order Ticket Printing settings, follow the steps below:

    Eats365 POS

    1. Log in to the Eats365 POS. 
    2. At the top left, tap Settings .
    3. Under "Settings," tap Printing, then select Order Ticket Printing.
    4. Turn on  or off  a setting based on your preference.
    5. At the top right, tap Save to confirm.

    Merchant Portal (Classic Theme)

    Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Experience Merchant Portal 2.0.

    1. Log in to the Merchant Portal. 
    2. On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings. Then, click on Printing.
    3. At the top, click on the Order Ticket Printing or Order Ticket Template  tab. 
      Tip: You can click on the left and right arrow buttons to search for the Order Ticket Printing and Order Ticket Template tab.
    4. Turn on  or off  a setting based on your preference.
    5. At the top right, click on Save to confirm.

    Tip: To switch themes, at the top right, click on the account name. Then, select Back to Classic Theme.

    1. Log in to the Merchant Portal. 
    2. On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings. 
    3. Click on Printing. Then, select Order Ticket Settings.
    4. Select whether you’re configuring Order Ticket Printing or Order Ticket Template settings. Then, turn on turn on  or off  a setting based on your preference.
    5. At the top right, click on Save to confirm.

    Order Ticket Printing options

    You can change the following options in the Expeditor Ticket Printing settings:

    Eats365 POS

    General

    Print Dine-In Order Ticket

    Prints an order ticket for dine-in orders.

    Print Takeout Order Ticket

    Prints an order ticket for takeout orders.

    Print Order Ticket after Transfer Table

    Prints an order ticket when an order is transferred to another table.

    Print Order Ticket after Cancel Item

    Reprints the order ticket (excluding the cancelled item) when an item is cancelled.

    Delete

    Note: This option only appears if “Print Full Order Ticket” is enabled.

    Print Order Ticket by Table Partition

    Prints an order ticket when the table is shared or split.

    Delete

    Template

    Customize the Order Ticket and choose which information is presented.

    Font Size

    Adjusts the printed text into the following size options:

    • Small
    • Medium
    • Large

    Print Full Order Ticket

    Enables the option to choose "Print Order Ticket after Cancel Item" from the Order Ticket Printing settings.

    Print Takeout Indicator on Order Ticket

    Print Takeout Online Indicator on Order Ticket

    Displays a “Takeout” indicator for online orders on the order ticket.

    Print Dine-in Online Indicator on Order Ticket

    Print Dine-in Order Number

    Displays the order number for dine-in orders on order tickets.

    Print Printing Time

    Prints the date and time when the order ticket was printed.

    Hide Non Sales Item 

    Removes Non Sales Item from order tickets.

    Print Cutlery Remarks

    Displays cutlery request on the order ticket.

    Print Order Remarks

    Displays order remarks on the ticket.

    Printing Language

    Sets the default language of printed Order Tickets.

    Menu Item Language

    Sets the Menu Item language printed on the Order Ticket.

    Delete

    Important: Item names must be entered for the selected languages separately in Menu Setup. For more information on Menu Setup settings, refer to Set up and manage a Single Item or Set up and manage a Combo Item.

    Print additional language for Menu Item

    Gives the option to print two languages for a Menu Item.

    Merchant Portal (Classic)

    For your convenience, the majority of options are already described based on their actual purpose. For example, the option Print Dine-In indicator on Order Ticket prints the indicator [Dine-In] on the ticket. The option Print Order Remarks prints the Order Remarks on the Ticket, and so on. These settings can be turned on  or off .

    In some cases, some options may require different input or have unique behaviors. Refer to the settings below for more information:

    Order Ticket Printing

    You can choose from the following scenarios below to decide when an Order Ticket is printed:

    • Print Dine-In Order Ticket
    • Print Takeout Order Ticket
    • Print after Cancelling Item
    • Print When Transfer Table

    Adjusts the printed text into the following size options:

    Print Dine-In Order Ticket

    Prints an order ticket for dine-in orders.

    Print Takeout Order Ticket

    Prints an order ticket for takeout orders.

    Print after Cancelling Item

    When “Print Full Order Ticket” is disabled, no order ticket is printed after cancelling an item.
