Integrate Codemax with the Eats365 POS
Learn how to set up Codemax with Eats365 and configure the necessary integration settings.
Codemax is a third-party sales and inventory synchronization service that integrates with Eats365 POS. Through the “POS Live Sync” feature, sales transactions are sent to Codemax RMS in real-time, simultaneously updating the ordered item's inventory levels.
In this article, you'll learn how to set up the Codemax and Eats365 POS integration and set Reporting IDs to menu items.
Before you start
To use the POS Live Sync feature and initiate the integration, you must first perform the prerequisites below:
- Contact the Codemax team and advise them about your integration plans. They might ask for Eats365's contact details to discuss technical matters.
- Once the integration has been initiated, you must subscribe to additional required licenses:
- Codemax: POS Live Sync integration service license
- Eats365: Codemax restaurant license
Step 1: Create a POS Live Sync user on the Codemax RMS platform
- Open and log in to the Codemax RMS app.
Note: You may use any of the following devices to access Codemax RMS.- iOS: Download the "Codemax RMS" app from the App Store.
- Android: Download "Codemax RMS" from the Play Store.
- Desktop: Open the Codemax RMS website.
- Create a “POS Live Sync" user:
Note: This step doesn't require any additional license.- Initiate the user creation. Then, on the "Update User" page, enable "Is POS Sync User?".
Note: The email address you use here will serve as your username when accessing the Codemax RMS. - Access the "Warehouse Setup" page and enable onlythe following outlets:
- Is POS Default
- Is Receiving Warehouse
- Access the "POS Terminal Manager". On the left panel, open Functions
External. Then, set the "Integration mode" to "Real Time Sync."
- Initiate the user creation. Then, on the "Update User" page, enable "Is POS Sync User?".
Step 2: Set up the integration on the Merchant Portal
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- On the left panel, click on App Store
App Library
Available Apps.
- Under "Inventory System," locate Codemax and select Get This App.
- Enable Support Codemax
.Then, enter the following details:
- Login ID
Note:- This is the email address you used to create the account.
- This email address will receive the Daily POS Live Sync summary.
- Password
- Branch Code (for all branches in the account)
- Login ID
Step 3: Set a Reporting ID to menu items and modifiers
Menu items and modifiers must have unique codes assigned to them to be identifiable by the Codemax system. To add a unique code to items and modifiers, follow the steps below:
Item
Eats365 POS
- Log in to the Eats365 POS.
- At the top left, tap Settings
. - Under “General,” tap Menu Setup
Item. - Tap the item that you want to edit. You can also tap the three-dot menu , then tap Edit
. To create a new one, refer to Set up and manage a Single Item (Full Service, Quick Serve, Food Court) and Set up and manage a Combo Item (Full Service, Quick Serve, Food Court).
- Enter the Reporting ID you want to use for the item.
- At the top right, tap Save to confirm.
Merchant Portal
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- On the left panel, click on Menu Setup
Item. - On the item that you want to edit, click on Edit

- Enter the Item Code you want to use for the item. To create a new one, refer to Set up and manage a Single Item (Full Service, Quick Serve, Food Court) and Set up and manage a Combo Item (Full Service, Quick Serve, Food Court).
- At the top right, click on Save to confirm.
Modifier Master
Eats365 POS
- Log in to the Eats365 POS.
- At the top left, tap Settings
. - Under "General," tap Menu Setup
Modifier Master. - Tap the Modifier Master that you want to edit. To create a new one, refer to Set up and manage Modifier Masters.
- Enter the Code you want to use for the modifier master.
- Tap Save to confirm.
Merchant Portal
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- On the left panel, click on Menu Setup
Modifiers
Modifier Master. - Next to the Modifier Master that you want to edit, click on Edit
. To create a new one, refer to Set up and manage Modifier Masters.
- Enter the Code you want to use for the modifier master.
- Click on Save to confirm.
