POS enhancements

• Support WeChat Pay on the Eats365 POS: WeChat Pay can now be used as a payment method on the Eats365 POS.
• New payment workflow for Fiuu: You can now process Fiuu payments by presenting a payment QR code on the POS for the customer to scan using their chosen payment method. Previously, only payments through Fiuu payment terminals and customer-presented QR codes were supported.
• Menu editing lock: A new feature locks menu editing when applying a menu template or bulk importing a menu. An alert will now appear if a menu item update is attempted and the system detects an unfinished background process, such as when a menu template is being applied or when a menu import is in progress. 
• Order Notification Sound setting: You can now adjust the volume of order alerts. This applies to both payment completion and new order notifications.
• Setting to remain in the order screen after placing an order: You can now configure the Eats365 POS to stay on the order-taking screen after confirming an order. Previously, the screen goes back to the table map screen after ordering. 
  Note: This feature applies to dine-in orders for Full Service restaurants.
• New UI to update item and modifier inventory quantity to unlimited: An "Unlimited" option is now on the on-screen keypad to instantly change an item or modifier's inventory quantity to unlimited.
• Role permissions for inventory modification: New role permissions are available to modify item and modifier inventory.
  • This applies when "Menu Setup" permission is disabled.
• New search filter on the order list page: You can now search for an order on the order list page using the phone number associated with the customer's order.
• Customizable tender name on the POS: You can now change the label of preset tender names on the POS to your preferred version, allowing staff to easily identify the correct tender option.
• New UI for country code sorting: Country codes on relevant POS fields (including phone number fields on the "Add Member" page, queue ticketing, and more) are now arranged in numerical sequence.
• Setting for Maximum Rounding Position: You can now configure the maximum decimal rounding used when displaying payment values on the POS, such as item prices, additional charges, tips, and more. By default, each country uses a system-defined rounding position. For example, in Hong Kong, the default rounding position is 0.1. To configure this setting, contact Eats365.

Self-Order Kiosk enhancements

• Support scanning barcodes to add items to the cart: Customers can now scan an item's barcode to automatically add the item to the cart.
• Red Light Error Indicator: The Self Order Kiosk (Android) now includes a red light feature that turns on when a specific error, such as a printer or payment error, occurs. This allows both customers and staff members to identify when assistance is needed quickly. 
• Display a "Recommended" category: A new setting allows recommended items to be grouped into a single category.
• Hide the "Not Needed" option from optional modifiers: A new setting has been added to remove the "Not Needed" option from appearing as a modifier choice for optional modifiers.
• Default tip selection: The Self Order Kiosk will now automatically select the default tip option if the feature is configured in the "Suggested Tip" setting for both Dine-in and Takeout.
