Update 25.8.1: POS, Branded Online Store, and Modules enhancements

POS enhancements
- Display 365pay surcharge on the POS: If "payment surcharge" is enabled for 365pay, the POS displays the total surcharge amount below the selected payment method. For credit card types, the surcharge amount appears on the payment terminal.

New feature to temporarily suspend online ordering acceptance: Control your restaurant’s online ordering availability from the Eats365 POS. This new feature enables you to set a duration for temporary unavailability and select which service types (such as delivery and pickup) can accept online orders.
Note: You must have the "Accept Online Orders" permission enabled to manage the restaurant's online ordering status. -
(Cambodia) New feature to print dual currency in receipts: When the receipt language is set to "Khmer," printed receipts will include:
- Total amount in both USD and KHR
- Khmer and English language
- Tax invoice section
- New setting to configure the Branded Online Store QR Code on receipts: You can now customize the online store QR code printed on your receipt to direct to your branded online store website when scanned. Previously, the online store QR Code was only available with Eats365 Marketplace.
- Payment QR Codes: You can now print static QR codes for payment purposes and place them on tables allowing customers to easily pay for their orders. For more information, refer to the following articles:
Branded Online Store enhancements
- Add branded online store mobile shortcuts: Create branded online store shortcuts on your mobile device's home screen to easily access the restaurant's website.
- Leave a Review: Configure your branded online store to include a review section and direct customers to leave a Google review for your restaurant. Contact Eats365 for assistance in setting up this feature.
- Share link: You can now easily share links to the branded online store using the "Share" button located on the website.
- Display address for food court vendors: Vendors' addresses are now visible on the branded online store.
- Set the default language of the branded online store: Configure the branded online store to display the website in your selected language. When this is enabled, the branded online store will appear in the language you've set by default, unless the user manually changes the language.
- Email list for catering and next operation period order: Create email lists so those included can be easily notified when a catering or next operation period pre-order is placed on the branded online store.
Modules enhancements
Self Order Kiosk
Support Octopus payments on the Self Order Kiosk: Octopus can now be integrated with the Self Order Kiosk (Android), allowing customers to pay using their Octopus card and check their Octopus card's transaction and balance history. This feature is supported in the Self Order Kiosk (Android) V2.3.3 and later.
Queue Ticket Kiosk
Send diagnostics logs for Android Queue Ticket Kiosk: The Android Queue Ticket Kiosk can now send diagnostic log files to help narrow down and troubleshoot issues on the kiosk.
Expedite Display
- Send diagnostics logs for Expedite Display: The Expedite Display can now send diagnostic log files to help narrow down and troubleshoot issues.
- Display items by sequence: Items displayed on the expedite display will follow the "Item Display Sequence" set on the Eats365 POS.
- Highlight order when scanned: The highlight surrounding a scanned order has been improved to be more noticeable on the screen.
- Display the content of scanned orders: When scanning orders, the Expedite Display will now display a prompt when the scanned order number includes special characters or when it doesn't match the language of the keyboard currently set on the iPad where the Expedite Display is installed.
Kitchen Display System
- New "Grouping" order view: View items in a grouped format. Orders for the same item will be displayed under one group, and modifiers and special requests will be displayed as new lines within the same section.
- Display cancelled items: Configure the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to show when an item has been canceled on the Eats365 POS. If disabled, the KDS won't notify of item cancellations.
- Show combo item name: New setting to display the full combo item name along with the individual combo options on the KDS. If this setting is disabled, the KDS will only show the names of the individual combo options.
- Cooking time indicator: Display a timer to indicate the actual duration of the cooking process. When enabled, the "Complete" button is replaced with "Start."
- Item summary page: The "Item Summary" page shows a total count of each item ordered across the entire restaurant, organized by category. It provides a quick and simplified overview of queued items by combining identical menu items into a single view without separating them by order or including modifiers and special requests.
- Show order remarks: New setting to display or hide order remarks in multiple order views of the KDS.
- Print kitchen station name in tickets: New enhancement to print kitchen station names in tickets.
