View and manage Pre-order Report
Learn how to generate, customize, print, and export a Pre-order Report and Prep Tool summary on the Merchant Portal.
The Pre-order Report shows a summary of all pre-orders placed and processed in advance through the Eats365 POS. You can also generate a "Prep Tool" report that summarizes the items that your restaurant must prepare to account for pre-orders in the upcoming days (up to 6 days from the present day).
You can generate the Pre-order Report from the Merchant Portal 2.0. This report allows you to anticipate demand, adjust staffing levels, and ensure a smooth fulfillment process for those pre-placed orders.
In this article, you’ll learn how to generate a Pre-order report and Prep Tool report, as well as print and export the report.

View Pre-order Report
To generate a Pre-order Report, follow the steps below:
Shop level
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- On the left panel, click on Reporting
Pre-order Report. - Select whether you want to filter pre-orders by the time the order was created or by when it was scheduled. Then, set the date range that you wish to include in the report.
- If you know the "Pre-order Number" of the order that you want to include in the report, enter the pre-order number.
- Select the order dining type. You can choose from the following:

- Takeout
- Catering - Pickup
- Catering - Delivery
- To retrieve the records, click on Submit. The screen shows a list of the selected date range’s pre-orders.
Organization and Group level
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- On the left panel, click on Reporting
Pre-order Report. - Select whether you want to filter pre-orders by the time the order was created or by when it was scheduled. Then, set the date range that you wish to include in the report.
- Select the shops that you want to include in the report. Included shops must have the same region in the restaurant code, otherwise, the system will prevent report generation and display an error.
Example:- Accepted: SG + SG
- Unsupported: SG + MY
- If you know the "Pre-order Number" of the order that you want to include in the report, enter the pre-order number.
- Select the order dining type. You can choose from the following:

- Takeout
- Catering - Pickup
- Catering - Delivery
- To retrieve the records, click on Submit. The screen shows a list of the selected date range’s pre-orders.
The Pre-order Report includes a table view result that gives a quick view of covered transactions for the selected period. To further check a transaction's details, click on the Pre-order Number link.

Customize the report result
You may customize which information you’d like to display on the report. To do this, click on More
. Then, select the information that you’d like to include in the report result. Click on Save to confirm.

Generate pre-order preparation report
The "Prep Tool" is a dedicated feature that consolidates all pre-orders for a selected date range of up to 6 days into a single summary file. It calculates the total quantities required for every menu item, allowing you to prepare the necessary ingredients for ordered items and manage inventory in advance.
To view the Prep Tool report, follow the steps below:
Shop level
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- On the left panel, click on Reporting
Pre-order Report. - Next to "Date Range," click on the drop-down list and select Scheduled Time. Then, enter or select the date range you want to include in the report.
- If you know the "Pre-order Number" of the order that you want to include in the report, enter the pre-order number.
- Select the order dining type. You can choose from the following:

- Takeout
- Catering - Pickup
- Catering - Delivery
- To retrieve the records, click on Submit. The screen shows a list of the selected date range’s scheduled pre-orders.
- At the top right, click on Prep Tool.
- Select whether you want to include each order's special request in the report. Then, click on Download.
- The screen gets redirected to the Report Center. From the list, on the report you want to export, click on Download
. This downloads an xlsx file to your device.
Organization and Group level

Print Pre-order Report
To print a Pre-order Report, on the report page, click on Print. Then, select the printer where you want to print the report. Click on Print.

Export Pre-order Report
To export a Pre-order Report, on the report page, click on Export. An Excel file of the report gets downloaded to your computer. Open the file to view your exported Pre-order Report.

The exporting logic varies depending on the restaurant view:
- Shop-level: An Excel file of the report gets downloaded to your computer. Open the file to view your exported Pre-order Report.

Group or organization level: The screen gets redirected to the Report Center. From the list, on the report you want to export, click on Download
