Configure Eats365 Biz settings

Learn how to customize settings for the Eats365 Biz.

The Eats365 Biz settings allows you to customize the app’s layout and behavior based on your preferences. You can also configure the settings to update online ordering availability and manage inventory.

In this article, you’ll learn how to configure the Eats365 Biz to your preferred settings.

Change Eats365 Biz settings

To configure settings on the Eats365 Biz, follow the steps below: 

  1. Log in to Eats365 Biz.
  2. At the top left, tap Menu .
  3. Choose a setting, then change the options according to your preferences.

Note: Changes you make to the Eats365 Biz settings are applied automatically.

You can configure the following options on Eats365 Biz:

Operation

The Operation settings allow you to do the following tasks:

  • Perform Start and End Day
  • Manage online ordering availability 
  • Set a default estimate preparation time (in minutes) for Delivery and Pickup orders

Menu Management

The Menu Management settings allow you to update the menu option availability and manage inventory.

Note: You can’t change menu information from the Eats365 Biz. To manage menu information, use the Merchant Portal or the Eats365 POS.

Below are the settings available under Menu Management and what you can do with them:

Custom Menu

Update availability status of existing Custom Menus to Available or Inactive.

Category

Update availability status of existing Categories to Available or Suspend.

Item

You can update Item quantity in the inventory and turn on Application Access Permission from the Item menu.



Modifier Master

Update Modifier quantity in the inventory.

Printer Setup

The Printer Setup settings allow you to scan and pair a printer so you can print receipts from Eats365 Biz.

Note: The Eats365 Biz only prints out receipts. For tickets and reports, use the Merchant Portal or the Eats365 POS.

To pair a printer, follow the steps below: 

  1. Tap Scan Printers. 
  2. Select from the available printers. Then, tap Scan Printers.
  3. Tap the printer that you want to pair. 
  4. At the top right, tap Pair. 
    Tip: You can tap Test first to print a test receipt before pairing.

Preferences

The Preferences settings allow you to set the default language for your Eats365 Biz, as well as, enable or disable New Order Alert. You can also set an Audio Alert Interval for your New Order Alert.

Tip: When New Order Alert is enabled, the Eats365 Biz sounds an audio alert to notify you that an online order has been placed.

Restaurant Settings

Restaurant Settings allow you to update your restaurant information including Restaurant Name, Description, Address, Phone number, and Opening Hours.

System Settings (View only) 

System Settings allow you to view the Workflow settings you’ve turned on for your restaurant’s operations.

Important: You can only view your system’s Workflow settings. To change your Workflow settings, use the Merchant Portal or the Eats365 POS. Refer to Set up Dine-in settings and Set up Takeout settings.
