In this article, you’ll learn how to install and link a Self Order Kiosk to your Eats365 POS.
Before you start
To get your device ready to install Self Order Kiosk, make sure you have the following ready:
- An iOS device connected to a stable internet connection
Note: If you’re setting up the Android version of a Self Order Kiosk, the installer handles the setup of the app. - A standalone Self Order Kiosk or an iPad with SelfServ (formerly PhotoMenu) app installed
- A Self Order Kiosk license
- An Eats365 POS terminal
- A receipt printer
Install a Self Order Kiosk
To install a Self Order Kiosk, follow the steps below:
- On your iPad, open the Apple App Store.
- Search for "Eats365 SelfServ."
- From the search results, select Eats365 SelfServ, then tap Get. Once the download is complete, you can find the Eats365 SelfServ app on your device.
Pair a Self Order Kiosk with the POS terminal
To pair a Self Order Kiosk with the POS terminal, follow the steps below:
- On your iPad, open the Eats365 SelfServ app.
Note: Your device may ask you to enable permissions. Tap Ok to continue. - Tap Pair Device. A QR code is then generated from the SelfServ app, which the POS terminal needs to scan in order to pair.
- On the POS terminal, log in to Eats365 POS.
- At the top left, tap Settings .
- Under "General," tap Device Pairing, then tap Self Order Kiosk.
- Tap Scan QR Code. The POS terminal’s camera turns on.
- Align the QR code to the POS terminal’s camera.
- Once the QR Code is successfully scanned, the screen redirects to a page where you can configure your Self Order Kiosk’s basic settings.
Note: You can choose to customize the Self Order Kiosk’s settings now or do this later on. For more information, refer to Configure Self Order Kiosk settings.- Under "Operation," you can set the following options:
- Default Language
- Design Theme
- Show Category by Default
- Hide Soldout Items
- Hide Item Price
- (Required) Under "Accepted Tender Types," select the tender types that you’d like to be available on the Self Order Kiosk.
- Under "Operation," you can set the following options:
- At the top right, tap Pair Device to continue pairing.
- At the top right, tap Save to confirm.
Once the Self Order Kiosk is paired with the POS, you can start using the Self Order Kiosk.

Unpair a Self Order Kiosk from the POS app
To unpair a Self Order Kiosk from the POS app, follow the steps below:
- On the POS terminal, log in to Eats365 POS.
- At the top left, tap Settings .
- Under "General," tap Device Pairing, then tap Self Order Kiosk.
- Select the Self Order Kiosk that you’d like to unpair.
- At the top right, tap Unpair Device.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Once the Self Order Kiosk is unpaired from the POS, the Self Order Kiosk, including its configurations, is deleted. When you pair the device again, you must configure the settings to your preferences again.
