Manage online orders on the Eats365 Biz

Learn how to accept and reject orders, process refunds, and print receipts on the Eats365 Biz.

The Eats365 Biz manages all online orders placed on the restaurant’s website. From the Eats365 Biz app, you can do the following: 

  • Accept orders
  • Reject orders
  • Change order status
  • Adjust finishing time
  • Process refunds
  • Print receipts

In this article, you’ll learn about managing online orders using the Eats365 Biz.

Manage orders

When an order is placed on your restaurant’s website, the order immediately appears on the Eats365 Biz app. You can then choose to accept or reject the order.

Delete

Tip: Turn on New Order Alert to get notified every time an online order is placed on the website. For more information, refer to Configure Eats365 Biz settings.

Accept order

To accept an order, follow the steps below: 

  1. Log in to Eats365 Biz. 
  2. If you have multiple restaurants added to your Eats365 Biz, at the top left, tap Menu . Then, select your restaurant to show the Order page.
  3. If you have New Order Alert enabled, an audio alert plays and a pop-up notification appears on the screen to let you know that a new online order has been made. Tap the notification to view the new order or tap Refresh.
  4. On the Order page, tap the new order. The screen shows the order details.
  5. At the bottom, tap Accept.
  6. Select Accept and Pay to accept the order and require payment, or Accept to accept the order without payment. 
    Note: If you choose Accept and Pay, you must choose a payment method.

If you have Auto Accept Paid Order enabled on the POS, all paid orders are automatically accepted by the system. You don’t need to manually tap Accept or Accept and Pay. To turn on Auto Accept Paid Order, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Eats365 POS. 
  2. At the top left, tap Settings .
  3. Under Restaurant Settings, tap Takeout. Then, tap User App Settings. 
  4. Turn on Allow User App to Place Pickup Order  or Allow User App to Place Delivery Order .
  5. Turn on Auto Accept Paid Order .
  6. Tap Save to confirm.

Reject order

To reject an order, follow the steps below: 

  1. Log in to Eats365 Biz. 
  2. If you have multiple restaurants added to your Eats365 Biz, at the top left, tap Menu . Then, select your restaurant to show the Order page.
  3. If you have New Order Alert enabled, an audio alert plays and a pop-up notification appears on the screen to let you know that a new online order has been made. Tap the notification to view the new order or tap Refresh.
  4. On the Order page, tap the new order. The screen shows the order details.
  5. At the bottom, tap Reject.
Delete

Change order status

If the order is ready for pickup, you can change the delivery status from the Order page. 

To change the order status, follow the steps below: 

  1. Log in to Eats365 Biz. 
  2. If you have multiple restaurants added to your Eats365 Biz, at the top left, tap Menu . Then, select your restaurant to show the Order page.
  3. On the Order page, tap the order that you want to change the order status. The screen shows the order details. 
    Tip: 
    • If there are multiple orders available, you can search for the order directly from the search bar. You can also filter your search further by tapping Filter  beside the search bar.
    • You can change the order view by tapping on the available order view options or tapping Order History.
  4. To change the order status, you can do any of the following: 
    • Under Order Status, tap Edit. Then, change the order status to Ready for Pickup.
    • At the bottom, tap Ready for Pickup.

Once the order status has been changed, the customer is notified that their order is now ready for pickup or delivery.

Adjust Finish Time

In some cases, the default estimated Finish Time might not be enough to finish a customer’s order. In such cases, you can adjust the Finish Time.

Note: The Finish Time is automatically updated on the restaurant’s website. Customers can refresh the order page to check the latest Finish Time.

To adjust Finish Time, follow the steps below: 

  1. Log in to Eats365 Biz. 
  2. If you have multiple restaurants added to your Eats365 Biz, at the top left, tap Menu . Then, select your restaurant to show the Order page.
  3. On the Order page, tap the order that you want to change the order status. The screen shows the order details. 
    Tip: 
    • If there are multiple orders available, you can search for the order directly from the search bar. You can also filter your search further by tapping Filter  beside the search bar.
    • You can change the order view by tapping on the available order view options or tapping Order History.
  4. To adjust the estimated finishing time, next to Finish Time, tap Edit. Then, enter a new time.
Delete

Process refunds

The Eats365 Biz can process refunds for online ordering. 

To process refunds, follow the steps below: 

  1. Log in to Eats365 Biz. 
  2. If you have multiple restaurants added to your Eats365 Biz, at the top left, tap Menu . Then, select your restaurant to show the Order page.
  3. On the Order page, tap the order that you want to process a refund. The screen shows the order details. 
    Tip: 
    • If there are multiple orders available, you can search for the order directly from the search bar. You can also filter your search further by tapping Filter  beside the search bar.
    • You can change the order view by tapping on the available order view options or tapping Order History.
  4. At the top right, tap Refund.

Print receipts

The Eats365 Biz can print receipts for both Dine-In and Online orders.

Note: Make sure to pair the Eats365 Biz with a printer. Refer to Configure Eats365 Biz settings.

To print receipts, follow the steps below: 

  1. Log in to Eats365 Biz. 
  2. If you have multiple restaurants added to your Eats365 Biz, at the top left, tap Menu . Then, select your restaurant to show the Order page.
  3. On the Order page, tap the order that you want to print a receipt. The screen shows the order details. 
    Tip: 
    • If there are multiple orders available, you can search for the order directly from the search bar. You can also filter your search further by tapping Filter  beside the search bar.
    • You can change the order view by tapping on the available order view options or tapping Order History.
  4. At the bottom, tap Receipt.
