Update 26.3.2: POS diagnostic log status, Merchant Portal, and Self Order Kiosk (Android) enhancements
Release date: 31 March 2026
POS enhancements
Send diagnostics log status update: The POS now displays the upload status of diagnostic logs sent to Eats365, enabling merchants to easily verify successful uploads at a glance and quickly retry if a transmission fails. Previously, verifying the status of these logs required assistance from Eats365 support.
Merchant Portal enhancements
- Version control for transaction details in exported reports (CSV templates): You can now select the CSV template version to use when exporting reports. This prevents integration issues for merchants who rely on fixed report structures for internal processing when new fields are added to the system default.
- Updated Modifier Interface: The Modifier setting has been redesigned with a new, fresh look for more intuitive navigation and faster setup.
- Event Log Report: A new report is available that allows merchants to track modifications made to e-invoice settings.
- Non-Sales Summary on Daily Closing report (Organization and Group view): When using Organization or Group view, the Daily Closing Report now includes a non-sales summary, providing a data overview for the whole organization or restaurant group.
- Dedicated Modules setting section on Portal Roles permission: The Modules permission has been moved to its own section within Portal Roles. Previously, this was located under the Restaurant Setting section.
-
New setting hints for Discount Configurations: Informational tool tips have been added to the following settings:
- “Higher-Priced Item(s)” and “Lower-Priced Item(s)” under Item Discount offers
- "Service Charge is Waived in Complimentary Item" under general discount setting
- "Auto Remove Auto Apply Discount" under Group Settings
Note: This is available for accounts using Discount 1.0.
Self Order Kiosk (Android) enhancements
- Display pre-checkout items: Customers may now view and select pre-checkout items directly on the Self Order Kiosk (Android). You can configure which specific Modules these items appear during setup.
- Print e-invoice QR code on receipts (Malaysia e-invoice): When e-invoice is enabled, receipts printed by the POS and the Android Self Order Kiosk (running on version 2.7 or later) will automatically include the required e-invoice QR code.
- New supported payment (Malaysia): Fiuu Spot Payment
