After your restaurant’s discounts feature is upgraded to Discount 2.0, all existing Menu Templates will need to be updated to be compatible with the new discount framework. Any Menu Template that requires this update will be identified with a “Migration Needed” status.

To migrate a Menu Template to Discount 2.0, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to the Merchant Portal.
2. On the left panel, click on Menu Template Menu template. 
3. Next to the Menu Template that you’d like to migrate to Discount 2.0, click on Edit .
   
4. Click on Confirm to proceed.
   

After conversion, the Merchant Portal automatically refreshes and displays the updated “Active” status.

You must reconfigure the discounts included in the newly-converted Menu Template using the Discount 2.0 structure. Otherwise, the converted setup may not function as intended. Refer to Set up discounts (Discount 2.0) to learn how.
