    Generate Invoice Numbers for Tax Invoice (Taiwan)

    Learn how to import Tax Invoice Numbers into the Eats365 POS.

    Before you can get Invoice Numbers on the POS, you must first generate Invoice Numbers on the e-Invoice Platform’s portal. Then, once the Invoice Numbers have been generated, you can generate Invoice Numbers using the POS to import the Invoice Numbers from e-Invoice Platform and use them in transactions. 

    In this article, you’ll learn how to the import and delete Tax Invoice Numbers.

    Import Invoice Numbers

    To import Invoice Numbers into the POS, follow the steps below:

    1. Log in to the Eats365 POS. 
    2. At the top left, tap Settings .
    3. Under “Settings,” tap e-Invoice. 
    4. Under “Invoice Number,” tap Get Invoice Number. This generates 50 Invoice Numbers you can use for transactions.
      Note: Downloading a large quantity of Invoice Numbers (50 or more) to your POS results to a warning message that will be displayed to remind you that in the event that the POS resets or the Invoice Numbers are deleted, the unused downloaded Invoice Numbers will no longer be usable.
    5. To get a reminder on the POS when the available Invoice Numbers is running low, enter your preferred number in the “Remaining Reminder” field. For example, if you set this to “20,” the POS will remind you to generate a new set of Invoice Numbers once it detects that there are only 20 or below Invoice Numbers available.

    Once created, newly-generated Invoice Numbers will appear under “Remaining Invoice Number.”

    Delete

    Note: If all Invoice Numbers have been used, you’ll need to generate a new set. Note that unused Invoice Numbers may disappear in the event of machine failure, POS app deletion, or resetting, so it’s recommended to only generate new sets once the available Invoice Numbers have been used.

    Delete existing Invoice Numbers

    In some cases, such as when switching to a different e-Invoice Platform, deleting unused Invoice Numbers may be necessary. To delete Invoice Numbers that have been imported into the POS, follow the steps below:

    Note: Your user account must have the “Delete e-Invoice” permission enabled to delete Invoice Numbers. Refer to Manage staff roles and permissions to learn how to enable the permission for your role.

    Important: The deletion of unused Invoice Numbers cannot be reversed.

    1. Log in to the Eats365 POS. 
    2. At the top left, tap Settings .
    3. Under “Settings,” tap e-Invoice. 
    4. Under “Remaining Invoice Number,” tap Delete Remaining Amount.
