Set up a centralized cashier (Food Court)
Learn how to set a POS terminal as the central cashier using the Merchant Portal.
A “central cashier” allows you to streamline food court operations with a designated POS terminal. This allows you to manage all payments and order processing in one location. You can also configure the setup to either allow vendor POS terminals to process payments or restrict payment-related tasks to the central cashier.
Assign POS as the central cashier
To configure a POS to be the central cashier, follow the steps below:

Note: Once assigned, the central cashier automatically becomes the primary POS.
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- On the left panel, click on Modules. Then, select POS.
- Click on License, then next to the POS terminal you’d like to set an assigned vendor, click on Edit
.
- Under “General,” click on the Vendor drop-down menu and select Central Cashier.
