Generate a Taiwan tax invoice from the Self Order Kiosk
Learn how to include a Taiwan tax invoice when you pay for an order through the Self Order Kiosk.
In Taiwan, establishments are required by the government to issue a tax invoice for every transaction. When ordering through the Self Order Kiosk, you may request a tax invoice to be included in your transaction.
In this article, you’ll learn how to generate a tax invoice from the Self Order Kiosk.
Generate a tax invoice
To get a tax invoice for your transaction, follow the steps below:
- Place your order as normal.
- On the Self Order Kiosk menu page, tap Checkout at the bottom right.
- Check that the items in your cart are complete.
- Confirm your order.
- If your order is final, tap Pay.
- If you want to make changes to your order, tap Edit Order. You can also edit the Items directly on this page. To do this, on the Item you want to edit, edit the quantity or tap Edit to show the item’s order details.
- If your order is final, tap Pay.
- Select your preferred E-Invoice type, then enter or scan the appropriate invoice details.
- Tap Confirm to proceed.
- Select your preferred payment method.
Important: Selecting the “Pay at Cashier” option sends your tax invoice details to the POS, where the invoice will be printed. Please note that once you proceed with the order, tax invoice information cannot be modified.
- Tap Continue To Pay At The Cashier to proceed, or Choose Another Payment Method to change your mode of payment.
- Follow the on-screen steps to complete payment.
Once the order is paid, you can retrieve the tax invoice from the cashier or through the Self Order Kiosk.
- If you selected the "Pay at Cashier" option, you can proceed to the cashier to pay for the order and get your tax invoice.
- If you paid using a different payment method, the tax invoice will be printed on the Self Order Kiosk.
