Set up a printer on the mPOS
Learn how to pair a printer with the mPOS to print receipts, bills, and dynamic QR codes.
The mPOS integrates with built-in printers on supported payment devices such as SUNMI and iMin, enabling receipt and QR code printing directly from the same device. This configuration improves operational efficiency by allowing staff to perform order-taking, printing, and payment processing on a single device at the tableside.
In this article, you'll learn how to set up a printer on the mPOS.
Before you start
- Ensure that the mPOS is installed and set up on the following supported devices:
- SUNMI Device Model: SUNMI V2s
- iMin Device Model: Swift 2 Pro
- The mPOS must be on version 1.11 or later.
- Printer setup is not compatible with Android mobile devices. If the mPOS is installed on an Android mobile phone, you must process printing jobs on the Eats365 POS.
Pair the mPOS with a printer
- Open the mPOS app.
- At the top left, tap Menu
Printer Setup.
- Tap Pair Printer.
Once successful, the printer status appears as "Paired."
Unpair the mPOS from a printer
To unpair the mPOS from a printer, follow the steps below:
- Open the mPOS app.
- At the top left, tap Menu
Printer Setup.
- Tap the paired printer.
- At the top right, tap Disconnect.
