Add a member to an order using mPOS
Learn how to add or remove a member from an order on the Eats365 mPOS.
When taking orders using the mPOS, you can associate a transaction with an existing member profile. Linking a member to an order allows the POS to keep track of customer spending habits. The information can then be used as a basis for running loyalty programs and different promotions.
In this article, you’ll learn how to add and remove a member from an order.
Add a member to an order
To add a member to an order on the mPOS, follow the steps below:
- On the order-taking screen, at the top left, tap Member
.
- Search for the customer's member profile using any of the following customer details.
Note: If the customer isn't a member yet, you must use the POS to create a new member.- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone number
- Card number
- Tap Search. Then select the member from the list.
- On the member profile, tap Add to Order.
- Tap
to return to the order-taking screen. The member’s name appears above the order to confirm that the member has been successfully added.
Remove a member from an order
To remove a member from an order on the mPOS, follow the steps below:
- On the order-taking screen, tap the member’s name.
- Tap Remove From Order.
- Tap
to return to the order-taking screen. The member should have been removed from the order.
