Getting started with Eats365 POS

New to the POS? Use this guide to help you get started with the Eats365 POS and integrate its features into your restaurant’s daily workflow.

Before you start

Check our list of compatible hardware devices including supported networks to ensure that you have the necessary equipment and meet the networking requirements.

Set up Eats365 POS

Connect your iPad to the internet

  1. Set up network-related hardware.
  2. Connect your iPad to a network.

Set up your restaurant on the Eats365 POS

  1. Download and set up the Eats365 POS app.
  2. Add your restaurant’s information.
  3. Set up your restaurant media.
  4. Choose the General and System preferences based on your restaurant’s needs.

Connect your printers

  1. Connect your printer to the POS.
  2. Set your printers for specific printing tasks. Configure your:
    • Receipt printer with a cash drawer
    • Kitchen Printers for each Kitchen Station
    • Kitchen Printer to print expediter list
    • Receipt printer to print Shift Report
    • Receipt printer for tables

Organize your menu

Add menu items

  1. Create a Category.
  2. Create a Product Type and a Sub Product Type.
  3. Add Items.
  4. Add Modifiers and Modifier Master.

  • Set a Kitchen Station.
  • Customize the menu layout.
  • Add Special Request Quick Keys.
  • Add tiers to your menu Items.
  • Set up Coursing.

Start and end the day

  1. Sign in or sign out of the POS.
  2. Clock in or clock out of the POS.
  3. Officially start the day.
  4. Officially end the day.

Take orders

Create an order

  • Add Single Items or Combo Items to an order.
  • Apply modifiers to an order.
  • Manage new orders.
  • Add a member to an order.
  • Use member order history to reorder.
  • Clone an order.

  • Lock orders.
  • Remove Items from an order.
