This article answers common questions about using the Pay Station alongside the Eats365 POS.
Will the Pay Station work without the Eats365 POS?
The Pay Station must be paired with the Eats365 POS for it to function. Pay Station pairing and settings configuration are done on the Eats365 POS. Payments made on the Pay Station are also synced with the Eats365 POS.
While the Eats365 POS serves as the core module for processing orders, the Pay Station works in tandem to enhance the customer experience.
DeleteDo I need an internet connection to use the Pay Station?
Yes. The Pay Station should be connected to the same network as the Eats365 POS. Since the Pay Station is synced with the Eats365 POS, a stable internet connection is required so that payments processed through the Pay Station are reflected in the POS in real time.
DeleteWhat do I need to set up a Pay Station?
You only need the following requirements to get started with the Pay Station:
- An advanced subscription
- A stable internet connection
- An iPad with the SelfServ app installed
- A Pay Station license
- An Eats365 POS terminal
- A payment reader for integrated payments
- A receipt printer
- An integrated payment option

Yes. The Pay Station requires a separate license from the Eats365 POS. For each Pay Station device, you need one license.
