Enable tip prompt for the Customer Facing Display
Learn how to enable the tip prompt feature on the Customer Facing Display (CFD), allowing customers to leave a tip directly from the display.
The "Tip Prompt" feature displays tipping options on the Customer Facing Display (CFD) during the order payment process. This allows customers to leave a tip before completing the transaction, which helps streamline the tipping process and improves the overall customer payment experience.
Enable tip prompt on the Merchant Portal
- Log in to the Merchant Portal.
- On the left panel, click on Restaurant Settings
Tender Settings
Tenders. - Click on the Tip Prompt tab.
- Under "Tenders Enabling Tip Prompt," click on the drop-down button and select the tenders that must be selected upon payment to display the tip prompt on the Customer Facing Display.
Note: - The "Selected Tender" list includes preset tenders and integrated payment options, including 365pay.
- "CFD" must be selected as the "Tipping Method" for 365pay integration to include 365pay on the "Selected Tender" list. For more information on how to configure the 365pay tipping method, refer to Integrate 365pay with the Eats365 POS.
- Click on Save to confirm.
